ENLARGED PROSTATE
A man’s prostate gland tends to grow in size over time. If it becomes large enough, it can begin to cause unwanted urinary symptoms. The medical term is benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), but it may also be referred to as an enlarged prostate. Symptoms of BPH include increased frequency of urination, a weak urine stream, and an inability to completely empty the bladder. Fortunately, there are many effective treatments, so you don’t have to live with those symptoms.
Call us to schedule an appointment if you’re concerned you may have an enlarged prostate.
PENILE IMPLANTS
Penile implants are devices placed inside the penis to allow men with erectile dysfunction (ED) to get an erection. Most men, can be successfully treated for erectile dysfunction with medications or use of a penis pump. But for some men penile implants may work better if other treatments fail.
The placement of penile implants requires surgury. They are not right for everybody. Please talk to your doctor before decided if this is right for you. Call us today if you have questions.
PEYRONIE’S DISEASE
Peyronie’s disease is a noncancerous condition which is caused by fibrous scar tissue that can develop on the penis and can cause curved, painful erections. This can prevent you from having sex or might make it difficult to get or maintain an erection (erectile dysfunction). It can be painful to get an erection. For many men, Peyronie’s disease also causes stress and anxiety. It rarely goes away on its own. Early treatment is important for the best results.
