Kayla is a Georgia native, having grown up in the Atlanta area. She earned both her BSN with a Spanish minor and MSN with a concentration in Family Practice at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. After completing her BSN, she worked as an RN in pediatric hematology/oncology for 5 years and adult medical oncology for 3 years, before going on to earn her MSN degree. She moved from Atlanta to the Eugene/Springfield area in 2018, working as a nurse practitioner. She developed a special interest in urology after a rotation while in school. She is looking forward to gaining a new area of expertise in urology, while building upon knowledge earned from a background in oncology. She works hard to ensure her patients always feel well informed and taken care of. She enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, baking, crafting/painting, traveling, reading, podcasts, music, and comedy shows.
