Research Assistant Full Time

Research Assistant The job entails the following:
  • Answers telephone.
  • Books, coordinates and reschedules patient appointments.
  • Schedules laboratory testing and outpatient procedures and answers patient questions regarding their appointments and testing.
  • Processing lab samples (blood and pathologic)
  • Willingness to earn appropriate certifications
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures.
  • Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
  • Skill in answering telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner.
  • Ability to speak clearly and concisely.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 2-3 years relevant experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of medical terminology desirable.
  • Recent Centricity PM/EMR knowledge.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills.
  • Must have strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills required.
  • Must be flexible and a quick learner.
