Physician Support Coordinator

Job Overview: This position has two primary responsibilities 1. Responsible for creating and maintaining provider on-call schedules, time off requests and schedule changes for all physician and providers. 2. Responsible for enforcing policies around on-call scheduling and time off requests. Essential Functions: 1. Maintain open and frequent lines of communication with providers, front desk management, business office, and administration. 2. Coordinates and maintains call schedules for all physicians and providers 3. Ensures call changes are routed to all necessary entities including the answering service, local hospitals and all OUI physicians, providers and appropriate staff 4. Maintains and adjusts physician and provider schedule templates as necessary 5. Coordinates and maintains scribe schedule 6. Coordinates and maintains provider vacation schedule 7. Create and monitor call invoices for PeaceHealth and McKenzie Willamette 8. Coordinate meetings and place on provider clinic schedules Additional Requirements 1. Maintains confidentiality of all company, physician and provider information 2. Develops and maintains detailed knowledge of all practice management and scheduling software applications 3.
