Kayla is a Georgia native, having grown up in the Atlanta area. After completing her BSN, she worked as an RN in pediatric hematology/oncology for 5 years and adult medical oncology for 3 years, before going on to earn her MSN degree. She moved from Atlanta to the Eugene/Springfield area in 2018, working as a nurse practitioner. She developed a special interest in urology after a rotation while in school.
