COVID-19 BUILDING ENTRY POLICY

Patient & Visitor Screening Process prior to entering building:

  • Confirm fever free by scanning with a thermometer. Temperature over 100.4 prevents entry to
    the building.
  • If you have any of the following upper respiratory symptoms and no fever, you may enter the building but must wear a mask:
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath
    • Runny nose
    • Sore throat

Everyone entering the building must sanitize hands.

RN-Apheresis Center (Per Diem)

Oregon Urology Institute has an opening for an RN with current apheresis experience.

In addition to apheresis, the administration of IV immunotherapy will be conducted at the apheresis center.

This individual must demonstrate excellent customer service, effective verbal communication and public relations skills. 3 years of experience as an RN is required. Current Oregon RN license – unencumbered . BSN preferred. Current CPR/BLS. Critical care experience and current ACLS certification desirable. IV infusion experience with peripheral and central venous catheters is required, as well as current apheresis skills.

This is a per diem, non-benefited position with competitive salary offered.

  • Answers/routes phone calls to appropriate department.
  • Schedules patient appointments by entering/verifying/changing patient demographics or insurance coverage in the computer.
  • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Mark A. Wells, PA-C

Mark spent 10 years in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman stationed mostly with the Marines providing healthcare and combat medicine. While on active duty he also received a masters degree in sports medicine and is a certified athletic trainer. Mark then went on to obtain his masters as a physician assistant at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. He moved to the Northwest and was providing Orthopedic and pain management in Coos Bay and then Eugene. He joined Oregon Urology in January of 2019. He provides general urology with an strong emphasis in advanced prostate cancer. He is focused on patient education and understanding of pathology and treatment options.
