Conditions
Male Infertility
Male infertility is when the man is unable to produce or deliver fully-functioning sperm. This may be caused by structural and other defects in the reproductive system, hormonal deficiencies, illness, or even trauma. Blood and semen analysis are key to diagnosis. However, other tests such as an ultrasound or biopsy, may be necessary to help find a solution.
Treatment Options
Although in severe cases there may not be a viable solution, most cases can be solved through medications, surgical approaches, and assisted reproductive techniques. Depending on your problem your physician may look to intrauterine insemination, in vitro fertilization, or intracytoplasmic sperm injection.
